Our proactive process starts with a FREE behavioral health screening to identify individuals at risk for ADHD, depression, anxiety, and substance use issues.  We then incorporate the gold standard comprehensive ADHD evaluation by blending objective data, clinical interviews, and research validated ADHD screening tools into one streamlined experience.

We use the world’s only FDA cleared online ADHD assessment tool that simultaneously measures hyperactivity, inattention, and impulse control.  This tool provides clear, objective data about the core symptoms of ADHD.  We also use validated rating scales like the ASRS, PHQ-9, and GAD-7, and structured diagnostic interviews. The result: a comprehensive, personalized report that’s fast, clear, and clinically rigorous.

We DON’T include IQ tests or tests of academic achievement that were the old way (and unfortunately still in use today) because IQ and academic performance, and work ethic are NOT associated with ADHD. Those tests drive up the costs for ADHD assessment and are not valid measures of ADHD.

QbCheck is an FDA-cleared, computer-based test that objectively measures attention, impulsivity, and movement patterns. It provides clinicians with quantifiable data that complement self-report and interview information—helping ensure your diagnosis is accurate and defensible for workplace, school, or medical accommodations.  Subjective measures just aren’t valid indicators of ADHD symptoms.  A person’s experience and history of struggles are important aspects of any ADHD evaluation, but the foundation of good diagnostic data is clear–objective, valid measures.

We also collaborate with primary care providers and mental health professionals who refer patients to ensure continuity of care. We work seamlessly with them to ensure no one slips through the cracks. Once you’re in our system, we work with you to get you where you need to go to get the best ADHD treatments, medications, and accommodations.

Yes. Our reports are written to meet the standards of the ADA, Section 504, and higher-education disability offices. We provide the objective documentation often required to support requests for extended testing time, distraction-reduced environments, or other accommodations. We assist folks obtain accommodations for exams like the GRE, LSAT, MCAT, SAT, ACT, BAR exam, etc.

After testing, you’ll receive:

• A Full Clinical ADHD Report with an official ADHD diagnosis based on your unique ADHD symptoms and testing results.
• A consultation with an ADHD expert to review the results and discuss next steps (including treatment, coaching, or academic/work supports).

Most clients complete their entire evaluation—including testing, questionnaires, and review—within days.  The intake forms and self report measures may take 5-10 minutes total time and the full ADHD test (QbCheck) will require about 40 minutes total time to review the instructions, validate your computer meets minimum requirements, and complete the 20 minute actual test.

We primarily specialize in young adult and adult ADHD, including college students and professionals. However, we do work with adolescent referrals in circumstances where we are comfortable testing only for ADHD.  For children under the age of 16, if there is a concern that there may be other conditions like a learning disability, dyslexia, etc., we will often recommend a full cognitive educational neuropsych evaluation to rule out other potential diagnoses. We are happy to make referrals to other trusted colleagues in these cases.

AXON ADHD focuses on diagnostics and integrated care coordination.

We collaborate closely with prescribing physicians, therapists, and ADHD coaches to ensure you have a cohesive treatment plan. Referrals and coordination are part of our standard service.  At present, we do not have the ability to write prescriptions for medications, but we are working on it!

Our services are out-of-network to maintain flexibility and confidentiality.

However, we provide detailed invoices (superbills) you can submit for potential reimbursement. Many clients receive partial coverage through their out-of-network mental health benefits.
